'Sup. Wondering where you ended up here?
This blog mainly is the travel journal of some German guy who wants to explore the world for a bit. He's not rich, but he's got a bicycle and a tent. So one day in August 2014 he just left home for an open-ended cycling tour: Until there's no money, health or motivation left. (Well, by now it goes quite well even without money.)
Unlike many cycling travelers I don't want to reach a certain destination in the shortest time possible. Instead I want to see and explore as much as possible on the way, maybe changing plans sometimes and generally slightly zigzagging around. Now and then I also stay for a bit longer in a place I like.
The first main idea was a winter without freezing one's ass off. Almost succeeded on that.
Anyway, on this blog I'll document experiences, local features and the general progress. With lots of pictures. You can find an overview over the posts in chronological order here:
>> Timeline
And if you're interested in the travel route up until now:
>> Route
There are also some posts about Saxony from the time before this adventure started. Because, you know, it's nice to know what's going on at home before venturing into the rest of the world
I'll update this text when the time has come, but for now it should be enough. If there's any questions or general suggestions just leave a comment. Grammar nazis are also welcome since English obviously isn't my first language.
